The Xeccon Sogo 1100 front light is a pretty powerful light for those wanting something a bit stronger than your standard blinker. It is compact and looks pretty nice too with red detailing and a solid metal construction, giving it a sturdy feel. It is definitely a light aimed at the all weather commuter or rider given its waterproofing design.
Previously I have taken a look at the Xeccon Spiker 1206, Spiker 1207, S14 and S12. From theS12 to the Spiker models, there has been a clear progression in sophistication in these lights, and the Geinea models are yet again moving forward.
he Xeccon Spiker 1211 is a LED bicycling headlight that can be mounted on your handlebars or helmet. The Spiker 1211 consists of 2 main parts -- the headlight and the battery pack. The headlight itself is about an inch tall and about 2 inches long, has a CREE XM-L LED that is stated to produce 650 lumens -- and it is indeed very bright.
We compared an old XECCON light just to show how small the new ones are but also how much brighter and clearer they are.
Remote controller of Sogn series is like no other. It looks amazing and works even within 20 meters. So I got incredible power in this device I can take with me wherever I go.
When I first attached a Xeccon Spiker 1206 to my bike I was staggered at just how bright it was. Compared to the lights I had used in the past it was like comparing day with night. I then proceeded to run some tests on the battery life and found that, even on the brightest setting, I could get 2 hours or more of riding time. Since our night rides are always less than 2 hours, this was more than adequate for our purposes.
